Leave well alone, the so called original vw part I was sold was counterfeit, they agreed to collect the item from me but I had to get ebay involved in the end to get my money back as they won't refund until they received it back in Germany and conveniently UPS couldn't get clearance at customs, they then wouldn't reply to my messages. The sensor is copied so badly you can see where the part numbers on the reproduction part have been stamped on top with fake stamped vw letters in the pictures .
