I have not used the pump yet, but it seems to be very solid and well built. What needed more detail was the "priming" requirement prior to use. They recommend you purchase a "Y" hose connection with cut-offs on it. You will need a 3-gallon jug of water to do the priming! I had to purchase a new jug and hose tap to mount on it! Needs a short feed hose. I replaced the two plastic threaded hose attachment points with solid brass ones.
