  • Low budget opened up to see the guts.

Hardback or softcover, if you are into movies you need to buy a copy of this, read it, set it aside for a year, then read it again-- it will seem like a whole new book with some time to mature in your mind. Roger Corman was supposed to be an engineer, but somehow wound up lucking into movies, created a whole new "make it and run" methodology of movie making, and started the careers of a large slice of Hollywood, including some of the biggest names. Reading the book, watching the movies, then going back and reading on the "how" it happened makes the movie more interesting, more fun, and makes you wonder just how he managed to do this kind of thing. Buy. Read. Enjoy.
