    Packing mishap

    Item was sent in a plastic bag only and was quite banged up. The cord was very short, and the cord itself did not work. I replaced the cord, and the sound quality was poor. It sounded as if you were in a tunnel. The Caller ID takes batteries, and it works well. You can also store phone numbers in the phone itself. I am not sure if the phone itself was damaged in shipping as it was only in a bag, no box or protective wrap.

    Good phone with caller ID screen

    I bought this phone because I wanted a caller ID screen which my old phone did not have. This phone has a screen but it is small and difficult to read. Still it is better than nothing so I can mostly avoid picking up the phone when I do not recognize the caller.( PS You must insert the batteries for the screen to work.)

    Perfect for a second line in the kitchen

    Works perfect as a second landline phone in the kitchen. Always good to have a corded phone in case the power goes out. Good sound and fits perfect on the wall. The only thing I wish it had was a lighted caller id, other than that it's a great phone for the price.
