This is the second IYV bass I've purchased. Both are excellent quality, even before considering the price point. Shipped whole to ensure proper assembly. Sounds great in recording. Smooth and even frets. Low action, which I like. Slightly sharp intonation, but may just need truss adjustment due to environment changing. Seller was helpful with string gauge information and questions regarding other products. If you want to try FF/MS bass, then don't hesitate to get this. IYV impresses me again.

Just received my IYV IBHLFF5-400 Multi-scale Headless Bass today. Blown away that it arrived from Vietnam in 3 days…THREE DAYS, in perfect condition! I had them remove the neck and all the parts removed were bagged and padding protected everything. I requested a minor customization which they managed beautifully. I am very pleased. I will do some finishing sanding on the neck and apply a finish of my choice which I appreciate as a preference. I have not assembled to check intonation. Very happy

My purchase with the seller was great. They are very responsive and helpful. As for the bass, I have been wanting a headless and multiscale for a while but the only brands that make them are $1,200+ so I decided to try this. I am really impressed by how many features come with it for the price. I sanded the back of the neck and added oil to the tuners for comfort.The multiscale neck is 35" B string 33" G string The knobs are 3 band active EQ, pan knob, push/pull volume knob for passive mode

Pros: Item is as described & the craftsmanship is on point. However, it does need a basic set-up, but at this price point, it's to be expected. Shipping was fast see'n it was made and delivered from the other side of the planet. Communications were great as well. The only Con I have is that the shipping cost was almost as much as the instrument itself! Other than that, it's all good & I'm happy man!

Ordered Thursday night in OK and delivered the following Tuesday from VIET FRICKIN NAM. That's five days AND over the weekend. I CAN'T BUY ONE FROM GUITAR CENTER ON THE OTHER END OF TOWN AND GET IT THAT FAST. Asked for "detached" neck which saves $87 on shipping and the pics show just five normal screws to put in and POOF you're done. Asked for 4-string when the one shown was 5, no problem at all. PLAYS LIKE BUTTER, and that's from my band mates view too - cannot recommend this seller enough.
