Definitely needed to attach to a board to secure it to the ground and lesson the movement due to frames not being equally weighted. Found using the inside frame holders didn't spin the honey out well at all. Ended up just spinning frames on the outside. Turn around to extract the other side. Really quiet too. All in all a good buy for a small time beek.
