    Good camera.

    This is a good camera. I had the same model once before, and remembered I liked it. I'm glad I got it. It takes good quality pictures, and has manual settings that I don't want to be without. The only thing really that I don't like about it is there's no manual focus, and that makes it hard to get some night shots (but not impossible), and some other shots too. But it's reasonably fast, and you can adjust the shutter speed from 30 seconds to 1/2000. You can adjust the aperture, but sometimes depending on what you set other things on, it limits your range for that. It takes 4 AA batteries, and doesn't drain them too fast. If you get 8 rechargeable batteries, that's the best way to go. I'm still using the same 4 regular Duracell batteries that I put in it maybe 5 days ago. I've ...

    90% right on the mark

    I orderes this from beachcamera, paid after midnite on thu nite/friday early am, shipped out about 7 hours later. that was awesome customer service, received it on wednesday, caused by delay in memphis(storm). anyway, love the camera, it stayed in my hand for exactly 4 minutes before my wife took it and claimed it for herself, still learning how to use it, but so far loving it. can not wait till i get the new class 10 sdhc to go with this. love the white, it is matte not gloss, ge(or rather general imaging) did this one 90% right. nitpicking wise, they could have design the ir sensor hole better and add flash hotshoe, while they are at it, add a remote control, then it will be a perfect camera, now am looking for excuse to get another just for me too. :-P

    Incredibly sharp pictures. Awesome features, and an unbeatable price!

    My in-laws were in shock, disbelief and envy when I showed them my new GE Power Pro series X500 camera! Talk about a GREAT feeling. Ha! And less than half the price of their 'precious', more expensive and with less features camera...I can't say enough good things from that perspective. Truthfully however, this AWESOME 16 MP unit puts out some of the clearest, sharpest pictures of any digital camera I've seen to date. With incredible features too many to list, I'd say to everyone looking for THE best deal around, do yourself a favor and buy one of these!

    This camera has very good features. I would highly recommend to the novice it makes great pictures. Easy to use, light weight, great quailty, point and shoot.

    it takes amazing pictures, very compact, and overall A++

    I like how the picture image is so clear. The pop up flash is a must, and is amazing. the camera came in with all accesories listed. The picture quality is a A++ Its not too big, can be carried anywhere. Not heavy. Just an overall wonderful experiance.
