    Great alternative to newer more expensive cameras

    The D80 is actually a simple camera to use, once you learn the controls. I have several of them, and they serve me just as well as the newer, more expensive models would, aside from the lack of WiFi connectivity. Buying a pre-owned D80 is a fine way for someone new to 35 mm digital photography to start. Additionally, if you travel a lot and one gets lost or stolen, you have not lost $1,500. The cost of a pre-owned D89 allows someone to carry a back-up camera when traveling overseas.

    Nikon D80...an old new friend

    When I gave my grand girl my D90, I never thought I would want to do DSLR again....then I decided I wanted to and found this D80. It was like finding an old friend....great camera! Am delighted.

    Great value for money!

    Excellent camera with great price (for a used one bought on Ebay( My dad has the D70 for 7 years now and he is very happy with that, i was looking for something similar in affordable price and decided about the D80. this camera is great, Nikon improved all little annoying things from the D70 like replacing the old CF card with an SD card and like a larger screen that in essential.
