Beautiful guitar! For a great price. Was described as used but I would have thought it was new, tag was on the neck and the clear plastic was still on the pick guard.     Martin D-16E

    I can’t say enough how happy I am with my new Martin D-16E. Like a slimmer D-28, solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. Plays like a dream, not sure if I want to play my other guitars anymore. The new D-16E has a simple dovetail neck joint instead of the mortise and tenon neck joint, should be a little better than before. Can’t wait for the sound to open up in the next few years. Smells great too :-) sounds great unplugged and plugged in, ready to gig. Great sustain and not too boomy in the low end. Dig in you’ll get the low end but it won’t overpower in a mix. Not a D-28 for sure but sweet Martin sound, no doubt. I wish it came with a hard case instead of the soft case but it works for now.
