The Best to save the Trout or any type of fish with this Stringer.
If you are going to go fishing for Trout, Bass, Bluegill, even Catfish these are great to have just in case you catch a Big Fish, you can always release the smaller fish back into water safely

It'll Do The Job As Intended
It's a shame what a traditional U.S. company has had to do to compete. Made in Chi-nah...no indication of metal used nor coating. Appears to be thin steel, chrome plated. No indication if suitable for salt water, but that's what it will be used for. My vintage one, had for over 60 years, brass and stainless...survived 6 decades in and around salt water. This product is PRICED WELL, IS SERVICEABLE and will do what it was designed to do. In fairness, if I needed to get some to add to grandsons tackle boxes, I'D ORDER MORE of these South Bend fish stringers. They'll get the job done.
