Greta book for beginners learning to use the Nikon D5000.
This book is laid out in a way that everyone can understand. It is easy to read and easy to start and stop at your lesure. I can only read a few pages at a time without interuption and it is easy to pick up where you leave off. When a new item or technical term is mentioned in the book it is expained very well. I am not sure if this book is similar to any other books available because this is a first time buy for me. I bought this book so I could leave new things about my camera without having to read a book that was very dry and did not understand I was a beginner. There is not anything I dislike about the book, it fits my needs 100%. For a person who is professional with their camera this book may be written in a way that is too simple for them. Help is on the way
Super helpful explaining the ins and out of the camera. Also, a lot of nice lessons on composing better photographs. The chapter about editing software is a little outdated, but the rest of the book made up for it.
