    Early Saturday morning revisted

    As a kid, I loved watching Land of the Lost on Saturday mornings. I was thrilled to find it on DVD! I still enjoy the adventures of the Marshall family in their new prehistoric life: avoiding dinosaurs and the Sleestak, while learning to get along with the Pakuni. It's one of my most treasured DVD sets.

    Good kid fun - and a Boomer Memory Booster too !

    Like many folks buying this DVD set, I was a child of the early 70's - and quite drawn into the Land Of The Lost series when it originally aired. As I write this I'm recalling having a LOTL lunchbox even. So anyway, this is a fun series with enough scary sillyness ( the Sleestax ) and goofy sillyness ( Dopey the baby dinosaur ) for our 7 & 5 year old daughters. The transfer to DVD highlights the limited quality to the original special effects - but then, no one's buying this for the razzle-dazzle computer effects, right? Some quality bonus material would've been a welcome addition - where's the interviews with the now middle-aged actors, or the half-crazy fan with the house full of original props and scripts ? So, don't pay too much for this set, and you won't feel too guilty for the ...

    Love the old kids shows!

    Great box set! Sid and Marty Kroft knew how to make kids shows. I really wish they had shows like these today. Good G rated entertainment that will keep the kids involved and not have retarded, pointy headed characters that are supposed to be human kids. This a a great SciFi for kids.
