Great idea for stacking small splash cymbals
This is something that I was literally unaware that it even existed -but I had been looking for this exact item recently . So I was happy to find it and I could end my search. I attached it and tried it out with both a 6" and 8" splash cymbal. It worked better with the 6" splash because of the smaller circumference of the cymbal and when the cymbal was struck with a stick-it didn't rebound back against the larger cymbal it was attached on top of. And that is the problem that I found prevented me from using these as intended. It is too small or too short-so it does not offer enough space to allow proper clearance between the top and bottom cymbal. I think it needs to be 2" or longer to allow for the proper clearance. Otherwise, it is a great idea and for $10 bucks and free shipping ... This is something that I was literally unaware that it even existed -but I had been looking for this exact item recently . Does as it was intended
I really like this product and use with a 14 inch hi-hat and 8 inch splash. Fixes well to my DW3000 hi hat stand and is quite reliable. I was a little bit worried because DW hi-hat rods are thicker than Tama or other conventional hi-hat stand rods, but it's a "one size fits all", and attached quite well. Highly recommended when you're playing in small venues and can really profit from packing on less clamp or cymbal stand.I really like this product and use with a 14 inch hi-hat and 8 inch splash.
