    Comparison

    I bought this gold CD to compare with an SACD that I have. Unbelievable difference. The SACD sounds full, this copy sounds shrill and metallic. I also have a CD of same title. This sounds better than the gold.

    SURREALISTIC MUSIC REALISTIC SOUND

    This Jefferson Airplane gold disc is a keeper. An exquisite and highly nuanced mix captures the highs with great clarity while the lows have nice depth. It's fun to compare the stereo version which has articulated separation and a reverb feeling to it whereas the mono version is more straight ahead punchy. Flashback and relive 1967 with Surrealistic Pillow--the record that put S.F. on the map!!!
