About this product

Product Information

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is an action-adventure game played on the wing, based on the concurrently released Warner Bros. feature film and the books by Kathryn Lasky. Gamers take the role of Shard, a young guardian owl whose mission is to discover the truth behind a powerful and secretive group known as the Pure Ones. Players guide Shard through a series of more than 20 missions that follow the storyline of the movie, flying through dangerous locations, exploring unknown areas, and engaging in mid-air combat, using powerful battle-claw attacks. Shard is sometimes joined by other allied characters, who will lend support in battle and will attack on command. As they progress through the adventure, players unlock new armor sets to equip, each offering distinct advantages that may be crucial to overcoming obstacles and advancing to future missions. The Owls of Ga'Hoole is designed to be accessible, with simple controls for younger players, while also offering a more robust combat system for gamers who can learn to string together powerful combo attacks.

Seller offered a 10% discount, which was welcome. The item arrived on time (Complete in box with manual) as shown. The cover art, manual & Blu-ray disc are in very good condition as shown & as described. The Blu-Ray disc plays perfectly without any issue. It came in a thin plastic sheet, not a bubble envelope. The box was a little bit broken at the bottom, this wasn't mentioned in the listing but it isn't terrible so I can live with it. A positive experience overall as everything else was fine.

  • A surprisingly fast paced and extremely fun game

I had heard of this game but never got around to playing it until recently and was very pleasantly surprised. The game has very good visuals and graphics for what it is. Good missions with varying tasks to complete and some enormous bonus areas to do other activities as well as free fly around 5 extremely big maps. If you're looking to just complete the game you can do it in about 4 hours, maybe less. But doing the extras and getting gold medals will keep you in it longer and somehow the speed at which everything is happening is so fast paced you don't get tired of it, few games can do this. A very good and fun game that I recommend to anyone who likes aerial combat games and the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series.

  • A good product sure to make any ga'hoole fan happy

I had purchased this game after playing the demo a few times and decided that i would purchase and enjoy the whole game. Overall I thought it had a good flow in gameplay, decent graphics and a fun free play section if you wanna step away from the story. The one complaint is ways to attack via 'hot coals' got a bit repetitive Obviously aimed towards the younger folk i completed the story in less than two hours but if you want the who shabang and complete it as all four owls than it will take you a bit longer.

  • Great value for the money.

This game was purchased for our daughter who is into anything with owls. She thoroughly enjoyed the game, only wishing it to have longer playtime before finishing. The graphics are good and controls are not hard to figure out.

  • Great devlivery especially during holiday mailing

Brought this game for my daugther she loves it. No Complaints. Though I'm not to video games, this one seems enjoyable finally a video game I can stand to watch my fifteen yr old play without have to watch humans assinate each other.

  • Son Loves it!

I purchased this game for my 11 year old son after he played the demo on XBOX Live. He loves this game. He played it for four straight weekends before finally putting it down for another game.
