Convenient for use and cleaning.
I think this Skimmer Basket looks like it may be stronger than my old one and has a convenient pull handle that is removable when needed to place a filter sock in the basket and when pull handle is attached makes it simple to pull skimmer basket out of the intake for cleaning.

These baskets are ok, but they don’t work
Ordered these as extras for my pool. They are identical in appearance to my Hayward baskets except these are blue. Unfortunately, when my pool pump shuts off, these baskets float up and in some cases float over on the sides. When the pump comes back on, they just hang out on their sides making them ineffective. I’ve resorted to putting a small rock in the basket to keep them from floating up. Shouldn’t have to do that.Ordered these as extras for my pool. My skimmer basket broke the summer before last. I went to the pool store and bought one that only went halfway in and the store clerk told me it would without making sure. Long story short I paid for something that I wasn't happy with. Fits perfectly!!!!!! I'm sooooooo happy!

Not Hayward, but works and fits as it should.
This skimmer basket appears to fit correctly and function as it should. However, it is not a Hayward brand skimmer basket, as advertised. I'm not opposed to having an aftermarket item as the cost was reasonable and the fit and function is there, however, I don't believe it is appropriate to advertise this item as Hayward part.

Strong basket, Use handle for removing gently!!
The product was exactly the same quality as my Original . I got many years of use with my first basket and I expect I will this time too. My handle broke on my original. This is made the same; I am careful to gently lift it out of my skimmer so it does not get bound up by rubbing the sides too hard.
