Outstanding Speed Controller
This speed controller is a bit expensive, but it is well worth the money if you are looking for a QUALITY/HEAVY DUTY speed controller. It has numerous programmable settings via the USB device called "Castle Link" that plugs in between the speed controller & your computer. Castle Creations speed controllers are the only ones I trust in my aircraft! I have this particular one of my aircraft! in

Love Castle Creations. They always work and the ability to modify the ESC settings through your laptop is greatly superior with far more options than the tone setting process of years past. Also downloading the ESC data is extremely important for performance monitoring. For instance, I flew a motor designed for a 3C lipo setup but wanted extra performance and went to a 4C setup. The extra amperage I was pulling exceeded the motor burst limit and also exceeded the 50 amp ESC rating. The castle ESC worked flawlessly, but discovered after downloading the days flying, that the ESC was operating near it's temp limit of 216 degrees F. Lesson learned, always make sure the ESC is large enough to handle all anticipated amp and voltage loads. I installed a larger 75 amp Castle creation and ... Love Castle Creations. I like giving product reviews for ebay but wish they would give more time to use the product. I have only had this ESC a little while but I really like it. It was very easy to use my laptop to program it, and looks like it is going to work very well in my motor glider.
