    Parker has a Hemingway approach to writing.

    Short declarative sentences that say in a very few words what other authors fail to say in far, far more words. Highly entertaining tale about characters frequent readers know and love. Extraordinarily well written by the Master of his craft. Robert B. Parker fans will not be disappointed. I know Joan never is.

    Spare Change

    I have read all of the Sunny Randall books by Robert B. Parker. I enjoyed this book. I have to get the latest book to keep up with Sunny's relationship with her ex-husband Richie; her friend, Julie causes Sunny some problems in this book. A serial killer called "The Spare Change Killer" has begun killing again. Sunny's father, Phil Randall, asks Sunny to consult on this case. Sunny thinks she knows who the killer is and may be setting herself up to be the next victim. Very exciting!

    Spare Change

    This is a VERY good book. I read it in one sitting. I could not put it down. Compelling and suspenseful. Worth the time put into it. Very much like the movie, "The Zodiac" with a unique twist. Recommended.
