    Nokia 1100

    I was looking for a cheap and simple phone, just to make phonecalls and send texts, without any fancy stuff. I had previously had a big-button simple phone by a different maker, but it was relatively large, and the battery needed to be recharged every few days. The Nokia 1100 is small and light enough to carry unnoticeably in a handbag (although obviously not a state-of-the-art phone in 2010); it does exactly what I wanted it to do; it is easy to operate; the user instructions are clear and easy to understand; the screen is easy to read (I've read reviews saying that the screen is hard to see in daylight, but I have not found that); the battery lasts for weeks between charges, with moderate use. For my needs it is the perfect phone - in fact, I like it so much that I have bought a ...

    Best backup phone for a battery sucking smartphone

    I am a big fan of bare bones monochrome display phones, and Nokia 1100 is my favorite due to great user interface, and amazing battery life. My primary phone is an iPhone and sometimes the battery dies on me after continuous usage of GPS, videos, music and apps, and I pop in my micro SIM into this Nokia I always carry with me all the time. This is important, as people can now get in touch with me as opposed to the micro SIM in my battery dead iPhone! And sometimes I like using a cool basic phone with grey-scale display, with a Jason Bourne style wired handsfree

    Great battery live and peace of mind

    I just love these little nokias. As always with nokias - great reception. Easily lasts a week or two, has vintage ringtones, a convinient flashlight and that's it. My other phone is Nexus one in which i can kill two batteries a day, and it always notifies me about mail. But when i don't want to be bothered and want peace of mind - that's when i turn on the nokia. Great for field trips!

    Simply perfect Nokia 1100 Mobile Phone

    This phone is better than any new phone. That's the reason my daughter wanted one, abandoning her gadgety "do-all not so well" fancy phone. This phone is easy to use, solidly built and just "simply perfect".

    An excellent phone, good value for money, and very promptly delivered. Also came with a charger, which I did not expect, so this was an added bonus. I only needed the phone for a spare as I've been using one of this type for many years.
