The brains behind casual hits Bejeweled and Peggle take on "tower defense" strategy as anthropomorphic flowers square off against reanimated corpses in Plants vs. Zombies. "Adventure" mode finds players strategically placing weapon-wielding plants to cut down 26 different kinds of comical undead, including zombie pole-vaulters, zombie dolphins, "Zomboni" drivers, and the ever-dangerous zombie bobsled team.<br><br>Zombies come in all different strengths and speeds, so gamers must place a variety of different plants in strategic areas to ensure that no zombies may munch on the delicious brains that dwell just within the front door. Luckily, players are armed with an arsenal of more than 40 different plants, including pea shooters, cherry bombs, and potato mines. But greens and seeds are in short supply, and rolling fog, the setting sun, and backyard swimming pools only add to the challenge, so gamers must be judicious when doling out vegetable justice. Players can also try their hand at "Mini-Games," "Puzzle," "Survival," and "Zen Garden" game modes.

    My favorite game.

    You get a lot of game out of this one. Many levels and different things to do. I wish they made more games like this old one. It is simple, yet fun. You can even create your own zombie.

    Great game for the whole family

    I have always loved the game and now to own it has been a dream come true. The graphics are awesome. I love the fact that each time you play the adventure mode it changes up strategies. My whole family can't get enough even my grandson loves to watch the game and he's only 14 months.

    Wonderful game for teens and adults, will last a while

    This is a fabulous game thast will keep you addicted for weeks or a couple of months. Every level changes some and creats a new challenge. I never gave up and kept playing until I beat the levels. It uses speed, strategy and recall about skills used that worked on previous levels. I never felt that I would never beat a level if I tried it just one more time. Super game. Not for under 10, but super for teens and adults. ( It's just a slightly challenging game that little folks might not can do, not because of the "cartoon violence", which is just the game-like football has two forces trying to beat the other. I hate violence and think this is a great game. I understand the action involved and don't think it's anything too bad. Like I said, it's no different in action than a football game on ...

    A pretty cool side scrolling "defend tower style' game

    In Plants vs. Zombies the only thing that is stopping a horde of zombies from eating your brains is your trusty green thumb and your love for planting the plants of the attacking variety. The resource that allows you to plant more plants are suns, you collect those by clicking on them as they fall from the sky. You also will have to plant sunflowers, they make their own suns. Of course you are given a variety of attack plants too, the kind that blow up the zombies or eat them whole, or freeze them. The game has a good bit of strategy in the mix and a large selection of different plants and zombies. The game is easy enough for anyone to jump in, yet engaging enough to keep you playing for hours. And the experience is very rewarding all the way through. After winning the game the true meat ...
