Spiritually challenging and refreshingly honest! A Must Read!
Brennan Manning is the Oswald Chambers of our generation. His extensive vocabulary will have you referring to your dictionary more than once; however, his books are also spiritually challenging. This one is refreshingly honest as he shares with us his own search for what it means to be Abba's child. Included is a section for each chapter with questions that can be discussed in group or used for deeper reflection during your personal quiet time with God. I've read Manning before and enjoyed him. This book, however, exceeded my expectations. He writes concerning insecurity and misplaced spiritual identity from a very real place that has ministered to me beautifully.
