About this product

Product Information

Hickston, U.S.A., is the setting for Redneck Rampage, a tongue-in-tobacco-wadded-cheek shooter that features 14 levels of barnyard and backwoods mayhem in a world besieged by aliens, mutants, and eccentric locals. Hostile entities include deadly mosquitoes, chickens (target practice), cows, pigs, Turd Minions (alien fecal matter come alive), alien hulk guards, and vixens. Adding to the challenge are dozens of alien-induced clones of Billy Ray Jeter (an inbred mountain man), the urban-legendary Skinny Old Coot, and Sheriff Hobbes, the county lawman.

Players keep their health at tolerable levels by downing CowPies and pork rinds while swilling beer and whiskey. Equipment includes offbeat items such as hip waders, a vacuum hose, welding goggles, keys, and moonshine (stomach-settling staple), and the arsenal features a crowbar, .454 Casull pistol, rifle, shotgun, dynamite, crossbow, rip saw, alien arm gun, powder keg, and a mystery weapon. Two scales (Drunkometer and Gutometer), each with four levels of effectiveness, are used in measuring the player's health.

Redneck Rampage contains colorful language (a "cuss pack" is available separately) and a soundtrack featuring The Reverend Horton Heat, Cement Pond, and Mojo Nixon. Multiplayer action includes deathmatch action for up to eight players.

A top-notch eBay seller! Item was exactly as pictured and described by seller, used but in 'good' condition. I would say item was really in 'like new' condition. Seller packed item with great care, thoroughly bubble-wrapped and in layers of secure packaging. SUPER FAST SHIPPING. Would absolutely purchase from this seller again. So very grateful for this seller's honesty and integrity. A wonderful experience. Thank you!

  • Redneck Rampage

This game is a classic "First Person Shooter" from 1997, so don't expect the latest graphics or sound effects. It's based off the "Build" game engine like "Doom", "Duke Nukem", and "Shadow Warrior". It will take a couple days to play it through for most people. There are a few verions of this game that were sold. Some of them are only partial games, with only the first 5 or 7 episodes (out of 14). These are called the "Early Years" and "Possum Bijou" editions, there's also a version without the music soundtrack so try to get the full version with the music for the best experience! The full retail version has a cool redneck rock and roll sound track that you can play as a CD and play in the game using the included 8 track! Artists include "The Reverend Horton Heat", "The Beat Farmers" ...

  • my opinion on redneck..and tips on how to rate games

firstly to rate a game you have to jugde its: a)gameplay b)graphics c)creativity d) music (but thats not so important.) and finally e) its overall rating and don t forget to comment on difficulty. now....MY RATING OF THIS CLASSIC 1997 F.P.S(FPS=FIRST PERSON SHOOTER) Redneck rampage is a game i met as i grew up and is quite an attention-grabber, it does not have so good graphics HOWEVER they are quite good for a 1997 f.p.s game. Redneck Rampage has very good gameplay it has some realistic things but some fake things too. This game is rich in creativity and it has not been created in a rush, you can tell this game has been double checked by the inventor. Redneck Rampage has no music but it has some innapropriate gore and rude comments followed by the gore i recommend this game to ...

  • Review of Redneck Rampage

What I like most about Redneck Rampage is the fact that it is soo funny because it is a redneck game. All the humor which Jeff Foxworthy portrays as rednecks is clearly shown in this game. I decided to buy this game because I enjoy blowing up cows, pigs, and other rednecks. I love lighting dynamite and blowing the shit up.

  • Very Good

Very good as this was an old DOS game, which can be a little awkward to get going on the newer operating systems. The modified version work straight away on windows 7 with no additional work required. Also the original disc was included thus removing any copy right issue.
