The item is exactly as described. It will fit into the smallest kitchen but I have a bit more space so if I need to do more drying off I will put 2 boards next to each other. The water will drop underneath the rack into a container I can empty out and also wash out because it will come apart. It's the perfect solution for those who don't do " drying dishes with dish cloths ' bigger items like pots go on it or glasses .
