    Good investment for the moderate to serious gamer!

    Overall there are good points to the PlayStation and some not so great. I purchase the console w/o controllers (bad move), it would have been better getting the entire setup. Graphics in contrast to my Xbox 360 are not as good, but the light weight wireless controller is a nice feature. Wired controller I purchased did not work at all on one of the motion sensitive games I tried. Network setup was easy, blu-ray player is a bonus...if I decide to utilize it. There are great games available on this system and I'm glad I will no longer be limited when a great title comes out exclusive to one system only.

    Great hardware - breaks a little too easy but it can be repaired.

    Whats to say. Every kid wants a PS3 and if they do not - they want an XBOX. Personally I think they would be happy with either. Free online play makes it the best value out of the two. It is higher priced then XBOX but it holds the value a little better. I own a repair facility for game consoles so I would say the PS3 is overall the best box but if your son is like mine he will choose xbox - I think they just like the more expensive game play as all kids think money means better.

    Great.

    Awesome! I really enjoy the sony playstation 3. Just wished sony had a better variety of games, but other than that I would give it an A+. Price also isn't bad at all. The system is pretty easy to use.
