    The dvd sounds better than the cd!!!

    Booooo to Tommy wearing Ace's facepaint, and YAWN to Peter's feeble attempt at playing the drums!!! Peter should have been taken out to pasture and put out of his misery years ago!!! And, I can say that cuz I'm also a drummer and STILL a huge KISS fan.........since 1975!!!!

    Outstanding Live Performance - Kiss with Symphony!

    This is one of my favorite concert videos. From the 30 minute introduction going over the steps needed to put together a huge show in Melbourne, to the hour long outstanding show, this is a must see for anyone who likes Kiss. Paul Stanley shows off his ability to put on a powerful show, backed by Gene who is his usual louder than life self. Peter Criss does well, along with new guitar player Tommy Thayer who is even better than Ace Frehley. Imagine that! Impressive stage set up with multiple huge displays, fireworks, Vari-lites, confetti cannons and more. Not to mention Paul's stage work! The first DVD is really impressive. The editing on the concert is a bit too fast, with cuts almost every 2 seconds, but otherwise very watchable. The audience clearly enjoyed an amazing show.

    Great concert from the band with bonus features. Only let down is that it wasn't ACE playing with them. Still highly recommended.

    A Must Have For Kiss Fans!

    I have always been more of a casual Kiss fan. I enjoy their music, but don't really own alot of their CDs. But when the Kiss Symphony was televised on satellite, we had to order it and watch. (We got the DVD set free when we ordered) I was not only entertained, the entire concert left me breathless! The entire Australian Symphony Orchestra backs Kiss in most of their best tunes of all times! Imagine "Rock N Roll All Nite" backed by an orchestra! Sounds crazy, but they make it work! "Great Expectations" is not only backed by the orchestra, but the Australian Children's Chior. Every orchestra member, chior member and even the conductor are in full-face Kiss make-up. There are also backstage and airport scenes of the fans greeting Kiss which are fun and well flimed. There is nothing about ...
