    Work fine if you know what you're doing

    Opening the BNTV400 and replacing the battery is pretty straightforward. The battery connector is not a tight fit, so make sure it's on right. Now, here's the important part. The initial battery charge must be from a charger that can handle 2 amps. That means many el cheapo chargers won't charge it. It pulls well over 1 amp on the initial charge. For subsequent charges a lower-current charger may work.
