  • Quantaray XLF-50 / Sunpak RD2000

I bought this flash for my Canon sx20 because i needed more light output for darker rooms. the guide number is low but just right for close up shots (5-10ft) works well with my camera and conserves the batteries on my camera since the on board flash is not used. This unit takes 2 aa batteries and for $30 used i could not pass up this deal ! This is my first hot shoe flash unit and seems like a keeper since it is soo small and pocket friendly. The only bad thing is that the diffuser kinda flaps around when not in use but when flipped down it stays.

  • My Quantaray XLF 50 Flash IS GREAT

I normally spend alot of time doing research and on ebay looking for items to work on MY camera, a Canon PS sx10 is. After finally locating a camera shop that took time with me, we decided the Phoenix DZBIS-112II flash was what i needed. I told them i know very little about using any camera so i want one that "DOES IT ALL" FOR ME. At the same time i did NOT want to spend lots of money (one reason i chose not to get a Canon brand flash). After getting the flash, though the merchant and tec support were great, this Phoenix flash was a subpar product, also top heavy and big and did not really brighten pictures with THIS FLASH. I took it in to my local Wolf Camera shop and after testing, etc. the saleman said- why don/t you try this Quantaray xlf 50, its small, does everything the phoenix ...

  • Great flash for G15, especially for the price.

This is a great add-on flash for Canon's G15. The size and portability are a fantastic feature, along with the price. You do have to adjust the output power to get good shots however, rather than let the automatic feature make the choice for you.
