Listing says free shipping, but also charges handling fee, the requests additional money because shipping is higher than expected, i purchase plenty of items on ebay at True free shipping, thus this type of transaction is not a positive experience, seller should raise prices if they want to cover all cost, free shipping words are very miss leading

Unfortunately I'm not running a business nor am I a large retailer like Walmart or Amazon - but everyone expects free shipping now because of what they offer as a company. Given your limited experience on eBay it's not surprising you haven't run into this before but it happens.
