Surprisingly Strong Stand
When I got the box I was a little concerned that something this light would hold up a 20" crash cymbal. This little beast performed like a champ. The thing feels like it weighs nothing and folds up to half my other stands. I should qualify that I play in a blues / jazz band and crashing on this stand is going to be WAY different for hard rock / metal players.

The Chuck Norris of Flat Base Stands
I already own a number of the DW 6710 straight cymbal flat base stands and love them. I finally got around to picking up a pair of DW 6700 Boom Arm flat base stands and they are great. Nothing at all like my cheap 1960's flat base hardware which had a tendency to collapse and crash on the floor. The DW 6000 series are rock solid, relatively lightweight and hold up great.
