Reviews
The superior quality of its photos and illustrations is one of the principal reasons that the Department of Art History has consistently used Art through the Ages., Three strengths of Gardner's are: the choice of imagery discussed; the quality and size of the images, and the clarity; and detail of the discussion which includes a strong balance between style and history., "The writing is snappy and engaging, the content is excellent with substantial contextual information including patronage and reception, and the "boxed information" is useful and not just flashy graphics to make the book seem interesting and trendy."

I received the "The Incredible Discovery of Noah's Ark" book on 8 December 2023 early within the original eBay estimated delivery date of 7-12 December 2023 tightly wrapped in a poly mailer slightly different than the listing page description with some damage to the spine and pages of the book. After messaging the seller I was generously refunded 50% of the book price. The book is intact with full content. This seller made extra efforts to make this a satisfactory purchase. Thank You!

  • It's amazing! Worth the money spent

This is a great book! It was in wonderful conditions when I received it and had the minimum highlights to it which of course I don't mind at all. But this was a great buy! It is packed with information that is quite useful and informative for class and it breaks things down well so that they may be understood. Not only that but it is a book that I will surely keep even after I finish my art history classes, which is the reason I bought the book in the first place. It is most certainly a better book than any history book I have ever had because it can be used all throughout my history classes and I don't need to buy another one. I highly recommend this book to anyone whether you want it just to have or need it for a class!

  • This book was worth the purchase.

I love the book because it has great pictures and wonderful descriptions of the art. It is thorough and I will not be selling this book at the end of my course. I am going to keep it for reference. It wonderful as a reference book. One note: the book is meant to be about art and its context. This means that it is not a detailed history book. It does live up to its name as Art Through the Ages.

  • A fantastic university book that is brilliantly laid out.

A fantastic university book that is brilliantly laid out. There is so much content, it's definitely worth the $90 I got it for on eBay. I'm sure the resale value is going to be just as good, of I don't want to keep it for myself!

  • Easy to read

While this book can be daughting in the length it clearly states the information and has great photos! I'm really enjoying learning about the Art throughout all the ages.

  • Book containing everything you needed to know about art

This is a very informative book. It is vdery detailed and has great picturers of the pieces it discusses. The only negative comment I can say about the book is that it weighs a ton.
