    Log Cabin Book by Donna McConnel - many inspiring ideas

    This is a wonderful Minature Log Cabin Book; blocks can be varied by size allowing you to make quilts any size you wish. My main reason for getting this book was the Patriotic Heart-shaped quilt. However, there are many, many other quilts (including optional applique) that will inspire you to want to drop what you're doing and let your mind blossom into beautiful fabrics and quilts...............just sit down and sew! Book highly recommended. I've been quilting for years, and have books that I've never used. Normally, I just start sewing and make up quilts as the fabric, cutting, sewing and quilting dictates. But this book actually interests me to go with the flow and follow along. I'm going to get a few quilter friends together and we will all make this quilt...who knows? Maybe ...
