    Definitely Buy the Genuine Part

    The genuine Pfister cartridge turns on/off (pulling out and pushing in) the water and changes temperature (twisting clock or counterclock-wise) very fluidly. The generic off-brand I had before did not offer nearly as smooth operation, and became very sticky in a matter of months. It's definitely worth the extra few $$ to get the genuine part.

    It was the exact part need to fix the problem!

    My old cartridge was getting hard to pull out as it was 30 years old. I found a new cartridge and was able to replace it fairly easily, works great!

    Quality product as described

    Although similar look and feel, the non-OEM replacement is less smooth and costs about the same. This Price Pfister product comes with water proof grease for the rubber gaskets, alleviating buying the grease.

    Right part at the right price
