    The Canon Powershot SX 170

    I`m currently down sizing from my Canon Rebel. All I need these days is a camera that you can point and shoot, or select picture types you want to shoot. The Canon Power Shot SX 170 provided these features in a relatively small camera. The camera provides stills, right up to videos, and audio too! You also have power telephoto to wide angle feature plus flash. All this in a camera about the size of your hand. I recommend your trying one. The price is right too. Sincerely golfxer

    A Top Quality Camera for Under $200

    This is just a great camera. It does everything I want it to do, and more. Easy to use, great features, wonderfully sharp photos, great video; what more can I say. I had another Canon SX model, but it only had 9 mp, and I wanted something with a higher resolution; well, I found it. The price on this camera was super; I also bought a large capacity memory card. I know the old question, Nikon or Canon? That's like saying, Ford or Chevy. They're both good, but, as for digital cameras, the correct answer is Canon, all the way.

    You won't find a better shooter for small compact high quality carry along

    I have five high end cameras for photo shoots and have had several older generations of this small wonder, to carry every where. I am blown away by it features and finished product photos. Better get one while there still out there. You won't be sorry.

    Great camera!

    Great camera! Besides a few minor scratches on the screen the camera was in excellent quality. It looks exactly like the one shown in the pictures. As for image quality, it worked very well and I was very pleased with the result(great for a beginner camera). I was a bit sad that this particular camera could not be charged with a USB cord, so I recommend buying a camera battery charger along with this camera as well. Would buy again:)

    Not Water Proof

    I left my original SX170 IS along with my handguns on the back seat of my golf cart in an open range bag through a rain storm. We’ll, the bag filled with water, ruining the camera. I was fortunate to find another listed on eBay even though the camera had been discontinued. Easy to use with good picture and video capabilities.
