Marty Robbins - The Legend Revealed
This is a recording of various live performances of Marty Robbins taken from the Grand Ole Opry transcription materials mailed out to radio stations weekly between 1963 and 1972. His popularity during this time period was building into what would become legendary by the 1970s, when he would host the very last segment of the Grand Ole Opry and run much longer than the allotted thirty minutes for the show. His love for the fans and their love for him comes across in every song of this packaged set. The recordings are well mastered from the originals and remain true to the spirit of what a performance of marty Robbins would have been like during the time period that these recordings cover. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who is a fan of the late Marty Robbins and who remembers what ...
