Good product, better than cheaper far eastern alternatives
I bought the Tom Tom, after having a problem with a Sat Nav come MP3 player that I bought from a Chinese supplier. It took a bit of playing about with it to navigate through the menu, because it being second hand there was no manual. I expected it to have European maps but it didn't, however, these can be downloaded (at a price)easily from their website. It works well and is accurate to a point, some of the speed limits not being correct even although I downloaded updates, in some cases saying it was 30 when it was 60 on bypasses. This can be annoying as it makes a one-off noise when you are a certain number of miles over the speed limit it has programmed into it. Tom ToM bes sat nav by far
This is an easy to use sat nav My replacemant for one stolen from the car. Having seen other st navs in use I choose tom tom to be reliable and non naggy whith clear verbal directions and map. to enhance it further get the RDS ariel that allows live data to come to the unit. Bright sunshine is the only time you can't see the map on the screen but trust tom tom and you won't go far wrong. As a driver this is an indespencible tool to a good trip. i brought this tom tom because my husband kept getting us lost !this has to be one of my best buys so far it arrived quickly and i was very impressed with the quality,it was like brand new and came with a case and all cables.we have used this loads of times now and it has never sent us the wrong way,it is was also very easy to get set up and use, my husband was very impressed !i went for this product over other similar ones advertised because of the price, it was a bargin and was plain and to the point nothing to showyi brought this tom tom because my husband kept getting us lost !this has to be one of my best buys so far it arrived quickly and i was very impressed with the quality,it was like brand new and came with a case and all cables.we have used this loads of times now and it has never sent us the wrong way,it is was also very easy to get set up and use, my husband was very impressed !i went for this product over other similar ones advertised because of the price, it was a bargin and was plain and to the point nothing to showy

Hi the reason why i purchased the product from e-bay is ease of access to markets not open in usual manner ie any time of day , costs,etc. i think the tomtom is a fantastic bit of kit it takes me where i want to go without having to bother with maps also maps don't give you updates or route changes and all the mass of features that are in the tomtom ,being of the older generation i find the device very helpful.Hi the reason why i purchased the product from e-bay is ease of access to markets not open in usual manner ie any time of day , costs,etc. i think the tomtom is a fantastic bit of kit it takes me where i want to go without having to bother with maps also maps don't give you updates or route changes and all the mass of features that are in the tomtom ,being of the older generation i find the device very helpful.

Cheap and easy device.
It is easy to use but not safety camera alerts. You have to subscribe safety camera alerts at cost of 20 pounds. it is better to buy with camera subscription. Overall good device for everyday use.
