Top Notch Volume/Expression Pedal
These pedals are as sturdy and reliable as they come, as are their FV-500H sisters. They work fine as volume pedals as well as expression pedals. They are very large. For me that's a plus, but if you don't have much room on your pedalboard or prefer a smaller pedal for some other reason, these might not be for you. The only flaw is a minor one that probably won't affect most people. The gap between the rubber pads make this uncomfortable to use barefoot.These pedals are as sturdy and reliable as they come, as are their FV-500H sisters. Great Keyboard Expression Pedal
Though I'm sure there are other applications, I bought this pedal in order to control my keyboard volume during live shows, and it works perfectly for this purpose. First, I run my keyboards in stereo and this pedal has stereo ins and outs. Secondly, open the pedal to the highest volume and set your keyboard volume to your loudest volume desired in the main mix. Thirdly, close the pedal to absolute minimum and then use the volume knob on the side to turn your keyboard down to the lowest volume desired in the main mix. Now you have the volume parameters set for your show. No more cranking the pedal up too much or turning it down too low. I used it for my synth module running my B3 organ sounds for my last show and it worked perfectly. It's ruggedly built and ergonomically well designed. ... Though I'm sure there are other applications, I bought this pedal in order to control my keyboard volume during live shows, and it works perfectly for this purpose. Great low Z two channel pedal, rugged and reliable.
Great low impedance pedal. Works great for active keyboard's higher output levels. It works much better than a couple of high impedance pedals I had tried to use in the past. It seemed the high Z pedals were close to all or nothing and hard to manage at intermediate volume. Long throw, lots of control, adjustable drag (which I set very stiff because I don't want it to move when I lift my foot off). VERY rugged and no concerns putting a lot of weight on it if you play standing up. The minimum volume is a great feature so the level doesn't vanish if you rack the pedal back too far. Two channel, so great for stereo keyboards too. I use two and place them against each other and with a little fiddling with the keyboard and amplifier volumes, I can "balance them up", then I can work them ... Great low impedance pedal. The minimum volume pot is recessed so it is fairly well protected when put in a crate with other "stuff". I'm sure a guitar or bass player could appreciate the tuner output jack feature. I never tried the three wire "expression pedal" feature that most newer keyboards will accept. The keyboard may have to be programmable to accept various expression pot impedances. Off hand, I don't know what the Boss potentiometer value is. For Korg, you set it at minimum and push a button, then full on and press another button and it ranges it in. Nord is pick from a list of models or potentiometer values. Others.... I wouldn't know. The pedal is very heavy; downside is it's another heavy item or two to carry and upside is it is heavy enough not to move around on the floor. I'm very happy that between the weight and the nearly full area rubber bottom pad, it stays put. Very well made, good looking pedal that does a good job.

Best most durable keyboard pedal.
Still the best. Price increased only by $10 since inflation hit the pedal market, so not too bad. Tried many others. Still my go-to pedal. Heavy, fits my foot nicely. Not to small or large. L/R in/out, plus exp jack. Tension setting helps for fine tuning volume control. Recommend remove base plate and blow out rheostat once a year or so. Use compressed air (Office Depot/Office Max)

Great pedal
I have read, don’t buy this low impedance pedal for guitar. I saw someone use it on YouTube. I bought it and I am so glad. My semi hollow arch top Epi can now sound like an acoustic! Nice! But, there is so much more. Every tone is cleaner than ever. Drive, tube screamer, fuzz, all sound nice.
