About this product

Product Information

Conker's Bad Fur Day is an action-adventure platformer developed by Rare for the Nintendo 64 and released in 2001. Known for its crude humor and M rating, Conker's Bad Fur Day is also respected for having clever puzzles, brilliant writing, and excellent gameplay. Considered a great game for the N64, it is also now a rare collectible due to low initial sales and a small number of ROM units being produced. In this video game, players take the role of the titular Conker, who finds himself waking up in a strange place with a terrible hangover after a long night of partying. Worse still, his girlfriend Berri is nowhere to be found, and his only desire is to make it back to her apartment and, if required, explain himself. However, to do this, Conker must navigate a large number of levels, helping and harming various colorful characters, solving puzzles, and defeating bosses. The game is filled with cartoonish designs mixed with rude jokes, toilet and sexual comedy, over-the-top violence, and drug use. Characters are cut in half, burned alive, eaten alive, or killed in ridiculous, over-the-top manners for comedic effect. Conker is capable of navigating the world of Bad Fur Day by running, jumping, and using his tail to hover. Conker can attack enemies using his tail as well as weapons found throughout the game. For instance, he can use a frying pan to hit enemies. Some of his other abilities include swimming underwater for a short period of time, climbing ladders, and pushing heavy objects. Conker's Bad Fur Day has a large number of specialized stages which revolve around weapons, including special action stages where they are used to fight unique enemies. Most levels have no time limit and can be completed as the player sees fit, giving them plenty of options to solve puzzles and explore the level for secrets. The player starts each game with three Conkers that represent lives and can earn more lives by collecting items in the game or buying them in the shop. When a player runs out of Conkers the game is over although it saves a player's progress, and players can begin again from any point where they have saved. To regain health, Conker just needs to eat pieces of anti-gravity chocolate, which are found in all levels. It offers gamers a different video game experience because it has uniquely crass and clever humor that's reminiscent of the show South Park as well as very tight controls and an engaging, albeit comical, story. Conker's BFD features a lengthy single-player mode as well as a four-player deathmatch mode to compete against friends in seven different mini games.

An underrated classic at an affordable price

Considering the game is rare and expensive(or overpriced depending on how you look at it)I was at first nervous about ordering from the listing because the price and listing in general looked to good to be true. However, I decided to give it a whirl saying that if I got scammed I wouldn’t lose that much money compared to an $80.00 listing. Once I placed the order, within a short period of time I got the notice that it shipped and on the day they said it would arrive it did. When you get the game, it’ll be inside a USPS First Class Package with the cartridge wrapped in cellophane which was easy to remove. The listing said the label was in bad shape but judging by the pics I took. I don’t see any problems with the label. Although I didn’t have any tools to remove the back to see the ...

  • Comic mischief for adult gamers

This is one of the classic mischief/adventure games for the Nintendo 64. Gameplay is similar to all the other animated character games, but with a sense of humor that is for adults. Conker has two abiliities that you control with the A button and the B button, and there are context-specific actions which you do to advance the plot, like finding the cattleprod and using it to complete some task to finish the level. When you are wandering around the mostly-open world, you meet all kinds of other sassy characters, most of whom are friendly. There is one legendary level where you have to battle a big pile of feces called the Great Mighty Poo. This game was not released on other platforms. The game company, Rare, was making games exclusively for the N64 at the time. Their N64 games are all ...

  • Conker's BDF - Nintendo 64 Gold!

What can I say abour this game that hasn't been said already. To me this is the #1 game for adults on the N64 and probably top 5 all in. With the EON 64 HDMI out Conker's looks amazing on hi-def TV's and you can tell the programers really took pride in developing this game late in the N64's life (2001). With hours of hilarious and compelling fun its a must have Nintendo 64 game. Complete in box Prices are going up everyday, get it while you can.

  • The Love of the Game

I wan't able to play it yet because I have to save money to get the N64 gaming console before I can play it. It's just having it brings me joy. For I, remember when I was young playing this game with a passion like no other. It might be crude and rude, but it is the perfect game to play. For ones that like gore and cute-ugly things. It would teach you to take a joke. That dark humor is just that dark humor. It will harden and soften you to insults of any kind. Knowing that thoses insults are just word, that can't hurt you if you don't let them. There are many more lessons in this game, but if you were to play it with fresh pair of eyes. You'll come to love "Conker's Bad Fur Day!"
