I purchased this book for research. (The items in my store are used to make Victorian style and vintage look jewelry so I want to be sure they are in keeping with the jewelry style of that period.) This book provides pictures and interesting descriptions of techniques in jewelry making. It also includes detailed drawings from the conception and progressing through the steps of making the item. The processes involved in jewelry making are outlined and discussed. Gemstone classification is also addressed with a chart detailing the most common colors.
