About this product

Product Information

Eureka Seven, Vol. 2: The New Vision is based on the Japanese anime of the same name and begins after the events of Vol. 1. Players assume the role of Sumner Sturgeon, an ex-military pilot who spends his time competing in surfing style events called lifting. Sturgeon grows tired of the lifting lifestyle and re-enlists to find action elsewhere. He is rapidly assigned to a mission of high importance. Sturgeon must find and destroy the Compact Feedback System before it can be finished, and to complete his quest, Sturgeon must take the controls of 17 different Light Finding Operations (LFO) and make his way through the single-player "Story" mode. He is regularly attacked and must defeat the enemy using a combination of melee and firing weapons. As Sturgeon progresses he can upgrade his current LFO's armor, weaponry, and reload ratings to increase his overall power. Other than the "Story" mode, gamers may navigate their LFO against other computer pilots in "Survival," "Dream Match," and "Conflict" gameplay.

Seller offered a 10% discount, which was welcome. The item arrived on time (Complete in box with manual) as shown. The cover art, manual & Blu-ray disc are in very good condition as shown & as described. The Blu-Ray disc plays perfectly without any issue. It came in a thin plastic sheet, not a bubble envelope. The box was a little bit broken at the bottom, this wasn't mentioned in the listing but it isn't terrible so I can live with it. A positive experience overall as everything else was fine.

  • Eureka Seven Vol. 2: The New Vision

I give this a 4 in spite of it's obvious faults as a video game (clumsy controls, easy gameplay etc). I think if you rent or buy this game, you at least have some idea of what you are getting into - and you are doing it most likely because you have played the first game and you are a Eureka 7 fan. With that in mind you wont really be disappointed. One you clear all the stages it opens up main characters and LFO's form the game and the anime to use in an arena match type setting. Pretty cool ~

  • If you liked the series

This game is only for people who loved Eureka Seven the anime. Its a good game with solid characters and a good story but...the game play is only so-so. There are a million games better then this one in every way but if you loved the series its fun to see how it all got started. Many of the main characters from the first one are in it (not the main boy of the series) like moondoggy and others so it fun to see where it all began and...surf boarding with giant robos in the sky! Can't really beat that. But the combat outside of the robos is lackluster at best. So if you don't know anything about the Eureka Seven world you won't really care, but a fun game for thoes that do. The GOOD rating i gave it was if you like the series. If you don't like or care about the series i'd give it a ...

  • best anime

i love it, the anime was the best i have seen i decide to buy it so i can play what happened before the anime it is good if you love eureka seven i got 1 and two the games are good there's a game called another century's 3 it has nirvash from eureka seven the main robot, well its not a robot if you have seen the show you wel know its not a robot the game goes well it has a good story i wonder about the main guy of the game what happens to him in the show?.

  • fast delivery, Very helpful, Great Comunnication!

game play was great, kind of short for a game. very fun game follows the story line of eureka seven volume one but takes place a couple years in the future.

  • i love the series but love the games even more

just like the title says i bougbht the first gam after having read the manga gravity boys and lifting girl which is the games prologue. this game puts the first to shame, which was a decent game itself. i love this game not much more can be said than that.
