Digitally remastered edition of this 1979 solo album from the former Montrose and future Van Halen vocalist and Rock icon. Street Machine was completely controlled by Hagar in the songwriting and production areas, with his eyes firmly focused on the Hard Rock prize. Packed with knockout punches, the album showcases one of the worlds greatest showmen, whose voice and songwriting ability are captured in pristine clarity. From the anthem lead track, 'Growing Pains', to rough and tumble guitar fuelled rockers, such as 'Trans Am', 'Feels Like Love', 'Plain Jane', 'Straight to the Top' and 'This Planets on Fire (Burn in Hell)', the intention is loud and clear; the red rocker is taking no prisoners and laying down the law with all the fury of a man on a life or death mission. Also includes Sammy's original version of 'I've Done Everything for You', later covered by Rick Springfield. Rock Candy.
