Dealer responded immediately to my message and rebated $ difference for less expensive shipping cost. Package had been shipped quickly and product was as pictured (except for that flattening).     Goodyear welt, nice quality leather.

    This is a well made boot. Goodyear welt, footbed molds to the feet. They get better looking with age. Can be resoled several times.
