Has some plus' but many minus'

The fact thaf the exciter tubes are analog just really drops this thing down. The amps are that great compared to others on the market. You can really dial in just 1 sound great. I'm using for gigging, but it reall isn't good for doin cover songs if you're any kind of picky with having the same sound as the band you want to sound like. The wah pedals work good. The responsiveness has something to be desired though. Echo is you basic run of the mill effects. For delay between effect is the major plus. There is no noticable lag between patches. Changing the patches is pretty simple and quick, as the options and ranges is fairly limited. If you plan to use in an amp with no effects loop, its near garbage to use the amp simulators. The cab effects is something to be desired. Compressor, ...

  • Better than most MEs, but some design improvements needed

I have been through many ME pedals over the years, and this one was one of the best. I especially like having 2 expression pedals so I can do volume control and wah. The pre-sets are so-so. I found a Zoom community site where you get the recipes for patches and found some pretty good ones. I never used the editor software, but learned you need to use MIDI cables. Changing out the vacuum tubes with some known quality ones will give you a good pre-amp boost. I was able to dial in some nice high gain patches that when bumped with the tubes sounded really good. The gain level on the tubes is not programmable to patches, but dialed separately. This is a pain as you will need to adjust the tubes for each patch manually This ME pedal is very good for the cover band player who needs to ...

  • Probably the best bang for the Multi effects choice out there

It took a while to learn how to use this but all of a sudden when the stars aligned...BAM! It was smack on. I use two sets of banks; going from AC30 clean to Bluesbreaker on one set, and then Marshall to Rectified on other four. The AC30 crunch has that tube sizzle I have been looking for forever. Very good and well built. I wish it had a DI out as I use straight into FOH. The wah could be better and separate delay with A vs B would help.

  • Greatest guitar floor processor

The Zoom G9 exceeded my expectations from the moment I flipped on the switch. I purchased this unit because I wanted to replace a noisy and messy chain of single stomp box effects. I did my homework and did not read a single bad review. The possibilities of tones that I can achieve with the G9 is unbelievable. It is very easy to use once you understand the manual and operation. - Amplifier and cabinet modeling that sound truly authentic. - Tons of presets and "tweak-a-bility" - 2 expression pedals (with adjustable tension) - direct recording and Cubase LE included - built like a tank - real tube warmth and adjustable to mix analog signal to suit desired tone I highly recommend this product!

  • Great Pedal, it really worth the prize!!

The pedal oversized my expectatived, its a very good and durable pedal. It really worth the prize, it has lots of configurations. I use to have a AX100G korg, now with this one, i hear m guitar(not a really good one) like a guitar in a profesional recording. A great feature it's the Z movement on the left pedal, also the 3rd fourths 5ths up and down it makes, the cool thing it's that you program the scale in which you are going to ble playing so you won't get out of tone. The changing rate it's so fast the you don't even notice it. The Twin Tube really helps to feel that analog sound.
