Very good CD holder
If you have a lot of CD's laying around, getting in the way, falling over, then this Mega CD Changer by Sony is for you. DIsappointed that Sony had discontinued this item coz it is very handy and a really good idea. This model holds 200 cds. I also have the newer 400 model, whcich, sadly is also discontinued. The difference between the 200 and 400 model is that the 400 model can read CD Text and one is able to input the titles manually via keyboard. A handy feature for sure. Easy to hook up. One is great, Two and you are in heaven
I purchased the big sister, the 355 two years ago. I love the Sony 355. So, the 355 was filling up and I saw the Sony 255 at a fantastic Buy Now price. Why another Sony Mega Storage device you might ask. The reason being, you can INTERFACE both units, so they talk to each other and MIX for you! It's like like having your own radio station. But wait, there's more! You can program thes Sony Mega Disc players, or let them run by them selves. The audio quality in the analog mode is excellent. The digitial optical interface is the best and interfaces with Sony receivers and computers too. For the record, you can interface THREE of the Sony Mega Disc units togaether and program the entire stack of machines with your remote. Versatle play options!
Feature I like best is that cds can be set up in blocks of 25 cds each, 8 blocks total. You can put a different genre of music in each block and randomly play within only that block. Or if you want, play all 200 cds!
