I’ve been buying Supertechs for 20 years now and have used several designs, but Alpinstars designed the inner bootie to have be more rigid an in turn made my foot uncomfortable and hurt. The design was better previously, so I took the booties out of my old boots and put them in these new boots and they fit much better. Break in of the boots had nothing to do with it.
