About this product

Product Information

For courses in Advanced Linear Algebra. This top-selling, theorem-proof text presents a careful treatment of the principal topics of linear algebra, and illustrates the power of the subject through a variety of applications. It emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between linear transformations and matrices, but states theorems in the more general infinite-dimensional case where appropriate.

  • Good book in good condition

My introduction to linear algebra was only introduction to SVD decomposition and general matrix magic. The content in this book is what has always been assumed known to the student, but never actually taught. Great book! My bad for not reading the small print, warning that the cover image is not the same, and the books isbn is actually 9789332549647. I still opted to remove one star, since the use of the wrong cover image seems intentional ;) Shipping was fast, and item is in good condition.

  • Good math book!

Great book! I am learning linear algebra from it, as advertised. It has good examples and nice pictures. It's required for my class, but I actually am glad to own the copy.
