When I purchased this item, I didn't realize it was only a travel size (3oz). When I expressed my disappointment to the seller, he very graciously rectified the situation by offering a reduction in the price. I would certainly use this seller again. The item came quickly and was well packaged.

Okay this was my first Sears RoadTalker and my introduction to them. It came just as described packaged very tightly and neatly. The shipping cost was about average with others that I’ve bought so the value is in the eyes of the collectors. I’ll see if I can get it working and swinging some wattage and if it doesn’t okay no problem but if it does I’ll decide whether to keep it or pass it on to someone else. The seller was very nice and very polite and sold just what they advertised. No issues

  • Good for what I needed

I bought this bare tool to saw up elk in hunting camp. I was tired of battery operated devices so I wired this to my truck. IT IS NOT VERY POWERFUL, but it gets the job done where I need the job to get done. When i opened the case to re-wire I saw all heavy duty drive parts. I also like that the rubber grips are bonded to the tool. A lot of sawzalls have a sleeve that gets loose over time. if you are thinking about trying what I did here are some recommendations. 1) buy a 14 volt tool because your vehicle produces 14 volts or more while running. You will get a little more power. 2) use a minimum of 10 gauge wire because of the voltage loss over distance. 3) keep the wire as short as possible. You will notice a big difference between a 10' cord and a 20' cord. 4) do not hook up some fancy ...
