The third installment of the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter 3 for Nintendo Wii, has players following his or her character around a world full of dark beasts as they explore an ecosystem where monsters and humans coexist. The third-person action game features new environments previously unseen in the series, such as underwater and volcanic settings. Monster Hunter 3 for Nintendo Wii supports one to four players. The Nintendo Wii game allows for local cooperative play through Capcom’s proprietary Wi-Fi mode, as well as standard online multiplayer co-op. The enhanced single-player mode provides individual gamers with a series of quests that aid in the exploration and understanding of the game world and its mechanics.
