    Good as a very basic machine only.

    I bought one used for $55 for my 6 year to learn on. It’s a step up from a toy machine. Very basic mechanical (loud) machine. Okay for youngsters or to repair a few clothes. But, if you are an teen-adult wanting to really sew, learn to sew etc....spend $150 plus on a computerized Brother with easy DROP IN bobbin. Huge difference! The more you spend the better the machine! I have a $375 model and LOVE IT!
