    Not even remotely close

    I bought this kit to clean up the double din opening in my 2004 Crv. The kit comes with a bunch of different parts and locking tab combinations. Unfortunately the instructions tell you to remove the wrong ones. Maybe I should have done my test fit first but, I assumed the manufacturer would have sorted this out already. Boy, was I wrong. The bezel was nowhere near square and the top section was actually curved... out of the packaging. This was obviously due to inadequate fabrication control. And the worst part, this "Honda" kit is 2mm too small for both my dash surround and the standard size 2din head unit I have. The whole reason it exists is to close the gap between the radio and the surround leaving a nice, smooth reveal.I should've just purchased a Scosche kit like I normally do. I do ...
