      Old is better

      I have owned a Virutex slitter that is about 18 years old. The shop was in need of an additional unit for a new station. I ordered what I believed would be a duplicate of a proven work horse, not the case. The unit is now make with many plastic parts waiting to be broken. It is worth 1/4 of what I paid!! I am waiting for it to fall on the ground and shatter. This will never last a year.

      Great Tool, but....

      Unless you have arms like the incredible hulk, you really need to buy the mounting kit so you can clamp it to your workbench. Especially if you are trying to cut long strips
